Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AlphaCue AI Vet mobile application and website (the “Service”), operated by AlphaCue Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The Service

AlphaCue AI Vet helps pet owners manage pet profiles and health records, obtain AI-assisted general guidance, ask the community, read pet-care content, and book paid consultations with veterinarians.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Post content that is false, abusive, infringing, or harmful, or that impersonates others.
• Misuse the AI features, attempt to bypass rate limits, or disrupt the Service.
• Attempt to access other users’ data or the Service’s systems without authorisation.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (pet information, records, community posts, consultation messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Veterinary Consultations

• Consultations are provided by independent veterinarians, not by AlphaCue Technologies. We act as a platform connecting you with them.
• Veterinarians are responsible for the advice they give. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.
• Consultation fees are shown before you pay and are processed via the payment methods offered (e.g. bKash or card).
• Fees for completed consultations are generally non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Unless required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.
• Prices and features may change; we will give notice of material changes.
• If you purchase through a mobile app store, that store’s billing terms may also apply.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding user content), is owned by AlphaCue Technologies or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI or community information will be correct.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaCue Technologies and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI or community information, your pet’s health outcomes, or your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlphaCue Technologies from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts located in Bangladesh, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
